Midnight Run

A passenger train streaks  through a small town in the middle of the night. Ghostly fumes and smoke cling to cars giving an eerie effect. By day break this train will be hundreds of miles away. Ink and watercolor.

Night Light

A lonely, quiet walk way is brought to
life by a night light whose rays provide
interesting shadows someplace in a far
away city. Is it 10 PM or 3 AM?
No one really knows. It’s just quiet.
Ink and watercolor.

Night Snow

Snow falls in a small town on a cold wintery night. It must be cold since no people are out enjoying a quiet walk. On nights like this it’s nice to be relaxing inside a nice warm home. Ink and watercolor.

Into The Dark Of Night

I painted this scene because I love trains and railroads and the excitement they bring. Here, a train heads out into the night on a long haul somewhere in the USA. This is my Midsummer Night dream. Watercolor.

Night Time Sets In

A country farm sees night time setting in. It is a point in time when night takes over and daytime ends and is a nice time of the day. This scene shows the moon with a little of its sparkle and a hint of daylight as the sun falls below the horizon. 11" x 14" ink and watercolor.
