Abstract Containers

This still life painting was done last year when I was “into” still life paintings. This art is semi-abstract, no lines are super straight and background containers appear thru foreground containers. The use of a variety of colors also help give bottles their shapes. Ink and watercolor.

Containers In Color

I hope you enjoy this colorful display of bottles, jugs and pots in this semi-realistic painting. My idea was to be loose, add lots of color and to have all objects transparent. I met my goal. At times, it's fun to stray away from how we normally draw and paint. Ink and watercolor.

Playing With Shapes And Colors

Watercolors were applied onto wet 140# watercolor paper to develop this painting. I lightly sketched in the outlines of bottles. Micron pens 02 and 05 were used as well as a black brush pen to define shapes. Tombow pen was used in dark shadow areas. Ink and watercolor, 2" x 3".
