Neighborhood Watering Hole

Every city has many exciting bars, taverns and other night spots. This well-lite sign is designed to attract attention to revelers looking for a good time. These neighborhood bars also become daily stomping grounds for many who seek friends who drink and help each other pass the time away. This is habit-forming and bad for your body and your marriage. Ink and watercolor.

Fish At Home

Fish swim freely in their colorful underwater kingdom where they have only a few predators to fear. When waters are clear, a myriad of plants, rocks and crustaceans can be seen living on the sea floor environment. My fish are no particular species--I just made them colorful. Ink and watercolor.

Snow And Shadows

This peaceful snow scene shows long shadows in the early morning hours. Soon the shadows will disappear and the fresh snow will begin to melt. Our area of the country could use much more snow and rain so we can enjoy a real winter--and have plenty of water for the hot, dry days of summer. It was not my intention to urge Mother Nature to cooperate but she did. Days ago we received good valley rainfall but tons of new snow in the mountains. Ink and watercolor. SOLD

Junipero Serra Museum-San Diego

The Junipero Serra Museum sits on a hill in Presidio Park in San Diego. This beautiful mission-like structure is a beauty to see. I went to visit the museum during our visit to San Diego last August mid-afternoon. I encountered very few tourists so I enjoyed my view in peace and quiet. Ink on bristol board.
