My friend Duke belongs to my niece Jackie, her husband Will and their one-year old daughter, Lucia. Duke was in the family way before Lucia came along and was really the "king". Now with Lucia as part of the family, Duke has realized he is not the "top dog" anymore and really does not like it one bit. If we pay too much attention to Lucia, Duke will leap in between us to make sure he is not left out. I hope Duke knows we still love him. When we say "Stay" he leaps at us.
