You will probably spook the spirits if you wandered through the main street of this old town. It is very quiet and still is a beauty for tourists. The wind blows through the boards of the old buildings making noises that have scared us since we were little. This artwork was a lesson in simplicity and to keep the old time feel, I did this with ink and washes of Alizarin Crimson and Paynes Gray. Ink and watercolor.

What a great artwork! You've captured the atmosphere perfectly with this limited palette of colors.
It's neat how much one color adds. Until I read the caption I didn't realize it was not full color.
