Vacant Pots Of Color
Empty pots against a patio wall is an exercise in simplicity. Spackles of color are shown on the pots along with a variety of color. These empty pots would have been spectacular if they were filled with flowers and other growth. I thought of filling the pots with growth but it was too late since the images were already drawn in ink--next time! Ink and watercolor.

I think they are beautiful just as they are - no need for flowers!
Amazing image, great colors, shadows, texture and lighting!

Yowza, I love the colors and the composition! You have a beautiful collection of pots!
The speckling is a particularly nice touch. Great piece.
I love it - and I think it is all the better for not having flowers. Much more interesting, in my opinion. If you had flowers in the pots, then the focus would probably end up on the flowers. I think pots are much much cooler :-)
Thanks all for your comments.
